I have a 2023 Y delivered in November of 2022 and I definitely have the ultrasonic sensors in my bumpers, and I get the proximity beeps and indicators. My car was probably among the last batch that got them. As a result, no high fidelity park assist for me (for now). Car's cleaner than me, and I tried a 'reboot' (i.e. held the two steering wheel buttons until I saw the logo come back on. It's a 2023 with <6k miles. Any ideas - I've never seen the opportunity for parking assist. I just went to an empty'ish parking lot ( after the reboot) to see if there was anything that happened.
“Park assist is degraded“ 2023 M3LR on 2023.12.5. I keep getting this from beginning of park assist while parking car in garage with side wall 2-3ft away. Initially it disabled, now a days it says degraded. As soon as car goes into garage, it first shows right/left side pillar camera is blocked. Next message is park assist degraded.

If you push and hold, it will also engage the Emergency Brakes making it even harder for your car to roll. When the Emergency Brakes are applied the ( (P)) icon will be displayed. When ready to drive, just do as normal and put car in “R” or “D”.
